Support and Warranty
We would like our clients to take full benefit of the warranty services that are entitled to them. Below is an outline of the general procedures that are in place to make this possible.
Our APC Support & Warranty Procedure:
We are able to provide full manufacturer's warranty on each APC product as we are the authorized APC service centre in Guyana.
Please visit our office with your product and get a fast resolution! Sometimes, because of the nature of the problem your replacement item needs to be shipped and delivered from APC (USA) to us and that can take as much as 28 days to resolve.
This service is free of charge for all items purchased through MDT. Please consult our sales representative on 225-3882, for more information if your product has been purchased outside of MDT.

Our Dell Support & Warranty Procedure:
We are a Dell Certified Partner in Guyana and our Dell systems are sold with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
Please visit our office with your product and receipt of purchase. Our sales staff will confirm the details of your warranty. Our technical team will run a diagnostics and send their report to Dell (USA). Dell (USA) will give us a time frame to expect a replacement and we in turn will relay that information to you.

Our HP Support & Warranty Procedure:
In the event that you experience a problem with your HP product, HP would like you, the end uses, to call their technical support center directly, for assistance.
HP personnel are available:

- The 159 is a collect patch through AT&T, through which you enter HP's telephone number.
- Follow the prompts to get to "Warranty Support" for your specific product.
- Please have your proof of purchase documents (MDT's receipt, product number and serial number) on hand when you call.
- An HP support representative will troubleshoot and diagnose any issue you may be experiencing with your HP product. If your product is still under warranty and needs to be serviced or repaired, the representative will arrange for this to be done promptly at no charge.
Support & Warranty Procedures on Apple Products:
We do repair Mac Book systems, laptops and iPads. Please speak with a sales representative for specific information on the warranty coverage of the Apple product you would have purchased from us. If your Apple system was purchased elsewhere, then our sales team will best advise you on the charges and time-frame to service your system.
